Merely hearing God's word is self-deception; Christians must act on it to show their faith is genuine. True faith is seen in obedience, not just knowledge, leading to a blessed life.

The Gospel offers hope and eternal life, and love for others motivates believers to share this life-changing message and not keep it to themselves. It is an act of obedience and a way to glorify God.
